Product information "Unheated Burma Ruby Brilliant Ring 2.60 ct 2.38 ct Myanmar 950 platinum GRS certificate"

an investment ring of the super class...., an unheated Burma ruby from Myanmar, color red (shown in the picture a tad too pink), in cushion shape, 9.32 x 7.71 x 3.51 mm, color distribution and brilliance very good, fine fan-like liquid inclusions (well visible in magnification), in the rare size of approx. 2. 60 ct, with GRS expertise dated 23 December 2016 (Switzerland/Lucerne), majestically set in 950 platinum with full-cut brilliant-cut diamonds and diamond baguettes total approx. 2.38 ct, TW-W (fine white-white)/ IF-VVS (flawless-very small inclusions), approx. 20 x 15.5 x 6 mm, weight approx. 10 grams, ring size 52 (can be changed), one-of-a-kind

About the ruby:

Undisputedly the most expensive colored gemstones in the world are untreated Burmese rubies, preferably in the color pigeon blood red (pure red with a slight blue tinge), but due to the low occurrence, untreated Mozambique rubies are also very rare and expensive as investment gemstones.
In Latin, "rubens" stands for red, from which the name ruby originated.
Mineralogically the ruby belongs to the corundum with a Mos hardness of 9 (very hard, comes directly after the diamond) and a high light refraction of 1,76
